MARRI HOUSE
Marri House was built to an exacting design brief & was an entrant in both the Master Builders & HIA awards. The house is eco-friendly; warm in winter & cool in summer, with a passive solar design, wide north- and east-facing verandahs & excellent insulation. It blends with & complements its surrounds & the large windows & French doors provide plenty of natural light & fresh air. The decor is elegant, sophisticated & refined with stunning Marri furniture & fittings. Tones are reminiscent of the area’s laterite soils & the tall timbers of the forest… you will feel completely in harmony with nature.
Whether it is breakfast and freshly-made coffee or a glass of Pemberton red in the evening, the deck is a wonderful setting from which to enjoy the surroundings, the cheerful sound of the kookaburras & the ambience of the gardens. You may even catch a glimpse of a visiting kangaroo. It is also a great place to set up the telescope & view stars on a clear night - with no city lights, the skies are truly spectacular.
